Exchange 2003 to 2007 SP1 Migration Workshop
As apart of our ongoing training, CITO in partnership with Microsoft via the Microsoft Enterprise Agreement will be providing an Exchange 2003 to 2007 SP1 Migration Workshop to the GOJ MIS Officers, scheduled for October 13-15, 2009.
Venue: Microsoft Jamaica Inc., Pan Caribbean Building, 10th Floor, 60 Knutsford Boulevard, Kingston 10
The goal of this workshop is to learn all the steps that need to be considered when an Exchange 2003 environment is about to be migrated to Exchange 2007 SP1.
Also all important migration steps will be done in 5 hands-on labs, which result in a complete Migration from Exchange 2003 to a pure Exchange 2007 SP1 environment.

Hardware Minimum Requirements:
This is a Hands-on Workshop with Labs.
Every Student needs one PC (32bit) with at least 4GB of RAM and 30GB of Disk Space.
It should have enough performance to run 4 images (1 Domain Controller, 3 Exchange Servers)
The Computer have to run VirtualServer2005 R2.
Knowledge Requirements:
Exchange 2003: Good general understanding of all Exchange 2003 components
Exchange 2007: Basic understanding of the Exchange roles
Windows Server 2003: Good understanding of Windows and Active Directory
Language: All Documentation (Slides, Labs) are in English
The delivery (PFE engineer) could be in local language
Duration: 1st day (14.00-17.00)
2nd & 3rd day (9.00-16.30)
To ensure the high-quality knowledge transfer expected by the attendees of this 2 -days workshop, class size is limited to a maximum of 16 officers.
Early departure on any day is not accepted.
Officers should anticipate consistent start and end times for each day. Persons who are not able to attend all three (3) full days need NOT apply.
