Inventory of ICT Assets - Establishment of GovNet

Please find attached the templates to be used to collate detailed information on your hardware, software (Operation& Applications), PBX and ICT skills.

We had recommended that Spiceworks be used to collect the information on your hardware and software. The instruction on how to run the required reports is attached.

If you are using another inventory system, you are asked to look on the output screens in the instruction and ensure that your exported spreadsheet or database conforms to headings and details shown.

The five (5) spreadsheets created,
1 hardware,
2 operating software,
3 applications,
4 PBX information and
5 ICT skills
are to be sent to mmckenzie@cito.gov.jm by end of day Tuesday 2011 December 6.

The filenames are to include the name of your institution. For files that are over 12MB, please send an email to indicate the same and an intern will be assigned to collect the files.
